Robins Nest Luxury Las Terrenas House Build
Our clients wanted a dream house in Las Terrenas they had a strict budget and a set list of requirements.
They wanted three bedrooms three bathrooms and an infinity edge pool an open plan living area and kitchen.
Through our real estate company Beachtown Property we found them a stunning ocean view lot inside a gated community and negotiated a bargain price.
We then started the journey to design a property that suited the land and their lifestyle within a set budget.
We went through the various phases of design mainly online sending out ideas. graphics and plans.
The clients were a joy to work with open to changes and suggestions helping us arrive at the final plans ready for the planning approvals.
The Design Stages and Architect plans
The house was designed by our architects maximising the stunning ocean views and giving protection from both rain and wind.
We designed the main house with open plan living/dining and kitchen areas that opened out onto the terrace pool and gardens.
There was a large master suite with dressing room and en-suite bathroom
We also managed a large pantry behind the kitchen a half bathroom and separate laundry room.
The second building has two bedroom suites with en-suite bathrooms and their own private terrace areas and garden.
The Las Terrenas House Build has a technical room for the infinity edge pool a covered parking area and a large storage area under the house for the services and dual water system.

Las Terrenas House Build Construction Process
Due to our good relations and contacts at the various planning departments, we were able to get the necessary permits and permissions very quickly.
We broke ground on the 17th January 2017 and started the building process with our skilled team.
Throughout the process we were in weekly contact with the clients sending reports, videos and photos of the progress.
The clients were particular in various items for bathrooms and the kitchen so we used both local suppliers and shipped items in from the USA.
The process had a few delays and interruptions by bad weather and heavy rain, we finished the house 5 weeks late on the 6th March 2018.
We were able to negotiate with the development owner to move the front gates and entrance walls.
This enabled us to gain road space in order to make a much larger drive and parking area and secure the property past its boundary line.
The house came in on our fixed priced budget price with the only additional costs being those for the agreed extras that the clients requested.
